There's a lot of art that tries to tie everything up in a neat little package, but Pangerl embraces the loose ends and the ambiguity. It reminds me of the work of outsider artists like Adolf Wölfli, who created these incredibly dense, obsessive drawings. It's a reminder that art can be a way of making sense of the world, even if it doesn't always make perfect sense to anyone else.
