This work is part of a series in which Brontstein took the development of Paternoster Square in the City of London as a starting point to explore the politics and effects of reconstruction. The drawing, housed in an original 1650s frame, alludes to a grandiose historic event when actually it is a reference to a project that was completed in 2003. Gallery label, February 2010
