Editor: So, this is Aegidius Sadeler II's "Head of the Twelve-Year-Old Christ," a print. It's striking how soft the lines are for an engraving. The face seems to glow. What story do you think it's trying to tell? Curator: It's interesting, isn't it? I see Sadeler almost channeling Dürer's spirit, trying to recapture a certain… innocence, maybe? That yearning for purity in the face, even as the weight of future events hangs over it. It's as if he's asking, "Can we hold onto this moment?" Editor: I didn't think about the influence of Dürer! I was just thinking about the texture. This has been really enlightening. Curator: For me too. Art’s always a conversation, isn’t it?
