This is 690 Green Power by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and it’s an incredible explosion of shapes and colors, mostly green, that come together in a city-meets-nature kind of way. Imagine Hundertwasser standing there, maybe with some music on, building this up layer by layer. I love the way the white teardrops, like falling rain, are scattered across the surface, creating a sense of movement and dynamism. There’s something so playful and energetic about the application. You can almost feel the artist’s hand guiding the brush, making each stroke with intention and maybe a bit of improvisation. I’m thinking about other artists who’ve played with this sort of architectural fantasy, like Paul Klee or even some of the visionary architects. It’s all connected, this conversation we’re having across time, inspiring each other to see the world in new ways. For me, it’s about opening up possibilities and embracing the unexpected.
