Editor: So, this is Victor Pasmore's 'Am I the Object Which I See?' It's quite minimal, almost like a diagram in sepia tones. It gives me a pensive feeling, like a question hanging in the air. What do you make of it? Curator: Well, it whispers of introspection, doesn't it? Pasmore was always wrestling with the nature of perception. This piece feels like he's turned his gaze inward, trying to map the very act of seeing. Do you think the textured surface adds to that sense of internal landscape? Editor: It does! It's like the question is etched not just on the paper, but into his mind as well. I hadn't thought of it as an internal landscape, but that makes perfect sense. Curator: Exactly! It's a reminder that what we see is always filtered through the landscape of our own consciousness. Art, life... it's all mirrors reflecting mirrors, isn't it? Editor: Wow. So much to see in something that looks so simple. Curator: That’s the fun of it.
