Curator: I’m immediately drawn to the etching process itself. Think about the labour involved, the corrosive properties of the acid, and the social context of printmaking, making art accessible beyond the elite. How does its existence as a multiple influence our reading? Editor: That's fascinating! It’s easy to forget the process when you look at the final image. I guess that’s the point of it being a multiple; it’s made to be shared, to be consumed. Thanks for pointing that out. Curator: Exactly!
