Two Women 

Milt Kobayashi's painting presents us with two women rendered in a style that echoes both Impressionist brushwork and contemporary unease. The seated figure’s head rests heavily on her hand, a gesture that speaks volumes. It is the melancholic pose, reminiscent of ancient depictions of mourning or even the languid postures of mythological figures in repose.
