Lech Jankowski made this piece, *Repassione per il cavallo di Torino. Trittico*, though I can't tell you exactly when, or with what. The colors are layered, muted, like a memory fading at the edges, and I get the sense that the artmaking process itself might have been a form of meditation. The surface has this depth, almost like looking into space. Dark blues and reds are smudged together, creating a field for these small, white, comet-like marks. Are they tears? Or seeds? There's a real physicality to the paint, you can almost feel the texture, like a worn fabric. Take a look at how each mark is slightly different, some thicker, some more transparent, and notice how that irregularity gives the piece a pulse, a life of its own. You know, this approach reminds me a bit of Cy Twombly's work, in that it invites you to interpret rather than define, to feel rather than understand. It's less about answers and more about the ongoing conversation of art.
