Rodolfo Arico made this untitled work using paint, and possibly collage. The pinks here are so delicate, almost like faded memories or light filtering through a thin curtain. It's amazing how color alone can evoke such a mood. Looking closely, you can see how the paint is applied in thin washes, bleeding into the fabric. There’s a translucence that gives it a very ethereal quality. Look at the drips and stains, especially on the top layer. They give the piece a sense of immediacy, as if Arico captured a fleeting moment, a gesture suspended in time. The sharp triangle on the bottom section adds a geometric element, creating a subtle tension with the softness of the pinks. This piece reminds me a little of Agnes Martin’s subtle geometries, but with a more intimate, almost fragile touch. What do you think? Does it spark a memory or emotion for you?
