Group of Putti

Curatorial notes
Editor: This is "Group of Putti" by Paolo Toschi. It's quite lovely, a crowded group of cherubic faces, but there’s a certain…seriousness to them. What do you see in this piece? Curator: It's a fascinating study of innocence tinged with something more complex, isn't it? They’re putti, yes, usually symbols of carefree joy. But Toschi captures a thoughtful introspection, almost as if they're contemplating…the weight of their cherubic duties! Don't you think? Editor: That's a wonderful way to put it - seeing the depth behind the cherubs. Thanks! Curator: My pleasure! It's always about discovering those hidden layers, isn't it?
