Someone wasn't afraid to let the medium do its thing. I'm just fascinated by the glaze on this piece. It’s drippy and thick. It's like the artist let the glaze do its thing, creating these glossy rivers and pools. It's so expressive, especially around the dog’s face, giving it this really soulful, almost melancholic look.
