This photo, Casablanca, 2004, in the Casbah El-Habous, was shot by Leo Rubinfien. Look at the way he's captured a fleeting moment. I imagine Leo wandering through the bustling Casbah, camera in hand, searching for a story, for a connection. He sees this woman amidst the crowd, her face etched with a mix of concern and introspection, and he snaps the picture. It's as though he's trying to freeze time, to hold onto a feeling, a mood. The light, soft and diffused, adds to the sense of intimacy, pulling you into her world. The composition is striking. The woman's face is so present, and the background is an abstraction, a kind of blurring. It reminds me that art is all about how we see each other, how we connect, and how we tell stories, one frame at a time.
