Editor: So, Gerd Winner's print, "Telephone Box," in the Tate Collection, presents two iconic red phone booths. They look like slightly ghostly apparitions. What’s your take? Curator: For me, they whisper of a lost era. Think of Hitchcock, or even Doctor Who! Winner captures that very British sense of sturdy utility slowly fading into obsolescence. Do you get that feeling of suspended time? Editor: I do now! Like relics of a bygone era. Thanks! Curator: My pleasure!
