Editor: Here we have *Rose Toner (Rhodamine)*, by the Imperial Paper & Color Corp. It's a small jar of pigment, presented with a color chart, giving it a very clinical, almost scientific feel. What do you make of this presentation? Curator: It whispers of alchemy to me, that potent desire to understand and capture color. I imagine a modern-day wizard, bottled rose essence instead of dragon's breath, don't you think? It is a bit humorous, don't you think? Editor: Absolutely. It's like the DNA of a sunset, bottled for future use. I didn't expect it to feel so playful, but now I get it! Curator: Precisely! The corporate label juxtaposed with that "Rose Toner" script is quite interesting. Editor: It really does! I learned a lot.
