This model house, designed and built by a student of Schule Schloss Salem, presents a fascinating study in form. The architecture, with its unadorned, geometric shapes, speaks of a desire to create order. The clean lines, flat roof, and stark, unadorned surfaces reflect a modern sensibility, reminiscent of the Bauhaus movement. These shapes echo elements found in ancient temples, where clean, unadorned surfaces and geometric forms symbolized purity and order. Think of the ziggurats, or even the modernist works of the early 20th century. The subconscious mind, steeped in cultural memory, responds to these forms on a deep, psychological level. The house, in its simplicity, evokes a sense of calm, a blank slate upon which the occupant can project their aspirations and dreams. And this is the eternal cycle of symbols: they resurface, evolve, and take on new meanings, shaped by each new context.
