Editor: So, this is an untitled group portrait of seven clergymen in front of a church, by Martin Schweig. It's a small, almost ghostly image. What do you make of it? Curator: It’s like stumbling upon a secret society, isn’t it? The inverted tones give the image an otherworldly feel. It invites you to imagine the stories and rituals hidden within the church walls. What do you think about the solemn expressions on their faces? Editor: They seem almost detached. Maybe they're just tired? Curator: Perhaps. Or perhaps Schweig is hinting at the weight of their roles, the burdens of faith they carry. It feels strangely intimate and formal at the same time. I love that tension. Editor: I never thought of it that way. Now I’m seeing so much more!
