Here I Am 

Nieves Mingueza made this artwork, "Here I Am," from found imagery and collage techniques. The black-and-white photograph shows a group of young women in a circle, holding hands, possibly engaged in a dance or some kind of communal activity. Created by an artist born in 1971, this work invites us to consider the politics of imagery and the social conditions that shape artistic production.
