This is a photograph of Lekeitio harbour, made by Delizy. It's a scene captured with what looks like a very long, thin camera. There's something really interesting about this kind of panoramic view. It's not how we normally see, right? Our eyes dart around, focusing on details. But this image gives us everything all at once, a wide sweep of the harbour. Look at the way the light falls on the water, and the way it makes the buildings seem almost like a backdrop in a play. It reminds me of those old postcards, kind of dreamy and a little bit faded. It’s like the artist is saying, "Here's a place, but also a feeling, a memory." It makes me think of Atget, who wandered around Paris documenting everything before it disappeared. Maybe Delizy was doing something similar here, capturing a moment in time, a particular way of life. It’s a reminder that art isn’t just about what you see, but how you see it.
