Kateryna Bilokur painted "Flowers with nuts", and what strikes me is the way this garden space seems to hum with life. There's a real tenderness to it, like she's documenting each petal with incredible care. Imagine her there, in her garden, patiently observing all these tiny details that most of us miss. The way the light hits a petal or how the colours vibrate next to each other. Each flower has its own character, but there's also this overall sense of abundance and natural growth. You can see echoes of folk art, a kind of naive yet sophisticated vision. It reminds me of Frida Kahlo's devotion to her garden. All these artists, they're in conversation with each other, across time and place, inspiring each other to see the world anew, one brushstroke at a time.
